Hi!  I'm Jenny Barr

I have been helping children learn to read  and write for more than twenty-five years.  I am a former public school teacher with a reading intervention background turned homeschool mom.  I have taught first grade, trained teachers as a K-3 Literacy Coach, and worked with hundreds of students as an intervention teacher and online reading teacher and tutor.

I know that teaching your child to read and write can be worrisome and frustrating at times, and sometimes you don't even know where to start or where to turn for help when they are stuck.

That's why I created this handwriting curriculum as an extension of The Homeschool Well online community. As parents, (all parents -- not just homeschoolers!) we just need help at times to give our kids the best education possible when they need a little boost to overcome roadblocks and confusions.  We understand and we're here to help!
